About Shuang Yang
Dr. Yang is an Assistant Scientist in the Department of Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics at the University of Florida College of Medicine and Assistant Director of the Cancer Informatics Shared Resource at the UF Health Cancer Center. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Florida. Her research focuses on cancer informatics and real-world data science, leveraging EHRs, claims, and other healthcare data sources to support research in cancer prevention, screening, treatment outcomes, survivorship, and disparities. Her work also includes building data infrastructure and analytic pipelines for cohort development, data harmonization, and the generation of actionable real-world evidence.
