Boya Lin is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Health Outcomes and Biomedical Informatics (HOBI). She earned her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the China Pharmaceutical University, and her master’s degree in public health with a concentration in biostatistics from the University of Florida. Prior to beginning the Ph.D. program at HOBI, she worked as a research coordinator at the Institute on Aging at UF, assisting with clinical trials and data analysis.
Her current research interests include physical activity, health outcomes measurements, and clinical trials. Her mentors are Yi Guo, Ph.D., and Matthew Gurka, Ph.D.
