Justin Rossi is an MD-PhD student in the Departments of Neuroscience and Health Outcomes and Policy. Justin holds a bachelor’s degree in history, cum laude, from Harvard University. Prior to enrollment in the MD-PhD Program, he was a research analyst and associate fellow at the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies in Washington D.C., where he evaluated emerging technologies for the Department of Defense.
Justin’s research centers on the use of neuromodulation in small disease populations and regulatory policies affecting deep brain stimulation research. He aims to be a physician-scientist involved in the development of policy to guide responsible clinical translational research. Justin’s mentors are Prof. Elizabeth Shenkman, PhD and Prof. Michael Okun, MD.
