Ramzi Salloum, Ph.D., Professor and Division Director for Implementation Science and Health Interventions has been appointed to serve on the Science of Implementation in Health and Healthcare Study Section (SIHH), a standing study section in the Center for Scientific Review at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
“Excessive screening opens the door for a lot of negative consequences,” said Jennifer LeLaurin, Ph.D., an assistant professor of health outcomes and biomedical informatics at the University of Florida and lead author of the new study.
This new implementation research, titled Monitoring Electronic Patient-Reported Outcomes During Cancer Treatment, will collect data from cancer patients over two years to investigate how the feedback system affects provider workload and patient behavior.
