Parking Passes

Single-space parking passes may be requested for HOBI guests for use in the Reitz Union Welcome Center Parking Garage (Garage XII) located across the street within walking distance from our offices at Malachowsky Hall.

After you have submitted your request, please allow time for processing. Once approved, you will receive an email containing a code to share with your guest. Your guest will use this code as a form of payment at the parking lot pay station where they will also be required to enter their vehicle’s license plate number.

Standard single-space parking passes are offered at a rate of $8 daily that is charged after use to the chartfield provided. Please note, this tier of pass does not guarantee a dedicated space and your account will not be charged if the code provided to your guests goes unused.

To guarantee a dedicated space, please reach out to hobi-administration@ad.ufl.edu for more information and relevant rates.

Welcome Center Parking Garage Information

Welcome Center Parking Garage (Garage XII)
655 Reitz Union Dr, Gainesville, FL 32611

  • The Bookstore/Welcome Center Parking Garage (Garage XII) is located at the Reitz Union, at the corner of Museum Road and Reitz Union Drive
  • Additional parking is available at Garage 5 located on Gale Lemerand Drive.
  • These garages are unrestricted pay facilities available to all visitors and members of the UF community run by UF’s Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS). For more information on garage hours and fees visit: TAPS Visitor Parking

Directions

From I-75, Exit 384 (State Road 24 / Archer Road)

  • East on Archer Road for 2.6 miles to Gale Lemerand Drive (formerly North/South Drive)
  • Turn left onto Gale Lemerand Drive for 1/2 mile to Museum Road
  • Turn right on Museum Road for 1 block
  • Turn left into the Reitz Union’s driveway

From State Road 24 (Waldo Road)

  • South on SR 24 to University Avenue (SR 26)
  • Right on University Avenue for 1.7 miles to US 441 (13th Street)
  • Left on US 441 for 1/2 mile to Museum Road
  • Right on Museum Road for 1/2 mile
  • The Reitz Union is on the right, just past Center Drive

From the Gainesville Regional Airport

  • Exit the airport drive
  • Right on SR 222 (39th Avenue) for 4 miles to US 441 (13th Street)
  • Left on US 441 for 1/2 mile to Museum Road
  • Right on Museum Road for 1/2 mile
  • The Reitz Union is on the right, just past Center Drive
