The International Student Achievement Awards (ISAA) highlight the accomplishments and contributions of international students at the University of Florida. The awards, presented by UF’s International Center, recognize students who distinguish themselves by their exemplary academic achievements and their accomplishments and contributions to UF and the community. The award ceremony takes place each year during International Education Week.

Students are evaluated on their GPA, publications, presentations and other relevant accomplishments, such as fellowships.

In April 2021, Du also received a 2-year, $45,000 fellowship from the UF Informatics Institute to fund his dissertation research project, “Enabling Reproducible Untargeted Metabolomics Research: Next Generation Untargeted Metabolomics Data Analysis Workflow.”
