Dr. Sarah Lynne-Landsman’s Paper on the Effects of State Medical Marijuana Laws on Adolescent Use Published in AJPH

Dr. Sarah Lynne-Landsman’s paper “Effects of State Medical Marijuana Laws on Adolescent Use” has been published in the American Journal of Public Health. The study concluded that in the first few years after enactment, medical marijuana laws have no effect on the likelihood that a young person will use marijuana in the states studied. However, medical marijuana laws vary considerably from state to state and longer-term effects might be quite different from these early findings.
