Dr. Caprice Knapp Selected for Inaugural Class of the UF Science Communications Academy

Dr. Caprice Knapp has been selected to participate in the inaugural class of the University of Florida’s Science Communications Academy.  The program will feature instruction by UF science communications experts, with the goal of sharing new and innovative methods for relaying scientific research to a wide range of audiences.

The Academy will be led by Professor Ann Christiano, the Frank Karel Endowed Chair in Public Interest Communications in the College of Journalism and Communications.

Members of the Science Communications Academy will implement the skills they acquire in November at ScienceWriters 2013, the joint annual meeting of the National Association of Science Writers and the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing.
